Operating Engineers are key to Ohio’s bustling construction industry. They are the men and women who operate a variety of heavy equipment, such as graders, dozers, cranes, backhoes and more. They also form the repair and maintenance crews that keep the heavy equipment rolling.

Through the Ohio Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Program, you can take a big step towards a career in one of these exciting and meaningful careers. You’ll get four years of training at one of four modern training facilities around the state, during which time you’ll have class work, on the job training and get paid!
