Mr. Finley ie. "The Ohio Highway Guy":
I want to thank you for visiting Port Clinton High School with your quite impressive Career Mobile. I was very pleased with your kindness and ability to pack in so much information into the time restraints that we had. My students checked out the website and asked questions for several days afterwards. One student even asked for materials to give to a neighbor. Our school information coordinator put an article in the district newsletter and I have attached a copy to this email. I felt that your presentation was very valuable and would recommend it to other teachers. Thank you. I will definitely make this a regular event!

To Whom it May Concern,
This letter is in reference to Dave Finley's recent visit to the Collins Career Center in Lawrence County Ohio. Mr. Finley's visit was both motivating and informative; he gave students wonderful information and answered all questions that were thrown at him. We at the Collins Career Center always look forward to Mr. Finley's visit as it gives our students an opportunity to learn the opportunities that are there for them.
He was prepared in his demonstration and exhibited complete professionalism while interacting with both students and staff. While here he visited three schools in the county which house a pre-engineering satellite program operated by Collins Career Center, as well as speaking to the senior student on the career centers main campus. This is a wonderful program which gives these young people options and opportunities. I applaud this board and Mr. Finley in their recruiting efforts and hope to have this opportunity for our students in the future.
Sincerely,
Michael Staton

Dear David "the Highway Guy" Finley,
Thank you for being a part of program that informs middle and high school students as well as educators, about the importance of careers in the highway construction industry.
Your presentation to the Dublin Teachers Externship class (28 educators), Central Ohio Career Development Council (20 educators), Union County Business Education Workforce Team (16 business/ education partners), Tolles Career Development Council (20 educators) and Career Technical students at Tolles Career & Technical Center will impact the career choices of many students in Central Ohio.
While the current educational drive is "to prepare every Ohio student for college", educators, policy makers, parents, and most of all, students need to be aware of the many opportunities available in highway construction. Thank you for providing a "vehicle" for this important message.
Thank you for your commitment to this important work and the quality of the delivery!
Sincerely,
Caroline Tudor
